Singapore Tech.Pass
The Singapore Technology Pass (Tech.Pass) was launched mainly to attract technology professionals to develop Singapore into a technology hub.
The Singapore Economic Development Board announced the Tech.Pass program on November 12, 2020 to attract founders, leaders and technical experts with experience in technology companies and contribute to Singapore's technology ecosystem.
Successful TechPass applicants will enjoy the flexibility to participate in setting up and running a company, as an investor, employee, consultant, director of one or more Singapore companies, mentor start-ups, or teach at a Singapore university.
Tech.Pass Features
• Founding and running one or more technology companies • Becoming an employee of one or more Singapore companies. • Changing employers or entrepreneurs • Serving as a mentor or consultant, lecturing at a local higher education institution, or being an investor and director of one or more Singapore companies. • Sponsoring spouse, children and parents to reside in Singapore and obtaining a Dependant’s Pass (DP) or Long-term Visit Pass (LTVP) issued by the Ministry of Manpower. • Holders who meet the renewal criteria can renew for another two years.
Tech.Pass Application Eligibility
Renewal requirements
To be eligible for a two-year visa renewal, the visa holder must meet the following requirements:
Have earned a taxable income of at least S$240,000 (which can be made up of salary and/or business income) according to the latest notice of assessment from the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore; or
Demonstrate total annual business expenditure of at least S$100,000 and employ at least 1 local PME (professionals, managers and executives who are Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents with a fixed monthly salary of at least S$3,900 and receive at least 3 months of CPF contributions) or 3 LQS (Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents with a fixed monthly salary of at least S$1,400 and receive at least 3 months of CPF contributions).

When renewing, please perform at least two of the following roles, at least one of which must be in column (A):
